Receive Spotify Analytics in Castos
Due to the unique way Spotify handles RSS feeds, you might see 0 listens on your Spotify Analytics tab. This help guide will explain why and how to receive analytics from Spotify.
Note: If you submitted your podcast to Spotify using the direct integration from Castos, Spotify will automatically show analytics. You can ignore this help guide.

If you submitted your podcast to Spotify for Podcasters directly and/or used your Seriously Simple Podcasting RSS feed, you might see 0 listens on your Spotify Analytics:
To receive analytics from Spotify in Castos Analytics, Spotify needs (1) the Castos RSS feed and Castos needs (2) your Spotify subscribe link added to Distribution → Directories.
Update the RSS feed on Spotify for Podcasters to your Castos RSS feed
- From your Spotify for Podcasters Catalog dashboard, click your podcast → Details tab
- Update the RSS feed for the podcast to the podcast's RSS feed on Castos in Distribution → Visibility or Distribution → Directories:
- Once Spotify verifies the RSS feed, click Next
- Confirm Castos as your hosting provider from the menu and click Next
- Verify the RSS feed and click Submit
Add your Spotify subscribe link to the podcast's Distribution → Directories page
- Copy the Spotify link from the same Details tab on Spotify for Podcasters:
- On your podcast's Distribution → Directories page, find and click Spotify's subscribe link Settings:
- Paste your podcast's Spotify link into text field and click Save
