Set or update your episode slug
For our creators that use the Castos podcast website for their podcast, you have the option of setting a custom episode slug which will be used in the episode URL.
Using our own Audience podcast as an example asking-dumb-questions-with-christopher-linnane
is the episode slug within the episode URL at
https://audience.castos.com/episodes/asking-dumb-questions-with-christopher-linnane
NOTE: By default, an episode slug is generated using the title of the episode when it is saved as a draft, published, or scheduled.

Set Episode Slug
To set a custom episode slug when creating an episode, you will enter the desired slug with only dashes between the words and letters within the Episode Slug field in the Episode's Meta Details section.

Update Episode Slug
Caution: Updating an episode slug after the episode URL has been shared will cause the original URL to break. A redirect cannot be set from old slugs to new slugs.
- Enter the edit page of the episode you'd like to update
- Find the Episode Slug field in the Episode's Meta Details section
- Click Modify Slug to enable the field to be edited
- Enter your desired slug with letters and numbers separated by dashes only
- Click Update to save the changes
