Can I update the image for a previously republished episode?

Once an episode is republished to YouTube, the image embedded within the video cannot be updated from Castos.

However, you can edit the thumbnail directly from YouTube Studio.

To update your image/thumbnail of a republished video, follow YouTube's steps copied here:

Sign in to YouTube Studio

From the left menu, select Content.

Click the video you’d like to edit.

Select an auto-generated thumbnail or click Upload thumbnail to create a custom video thumbnail from an image on your device.

Click Save
